Mission 

Radford Elf Shelf is a 100% volunteer organization whose mission is to offer dignified Christmas assistance to low income families in Radford in the form of gifts for children newborn-18 years of age and food vouchers for any income eligible family.

How is Elf Shelf Funded

Radford Elf is funded entirely through community donations and occasional grant awards.  Annual letters of solicitation are sent to Radford residents and businesses. The money received is used to buy new toys/gifts and to finance the food voucher portion of Elf Shelf.  Donations of new toys/books are received from individuals as well as through toy drives by local churches, businesses, and civic groups.
